STRAWBERRY YOGURT CUPS This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Malta Estate in Bedford, Texas in 1991. Ingredients:
3/4 cup all purpose flour |
1/4 cup butter softened |
3 tablespoons powdered sugar |
3 teaspoons cold water |
1-1/3 cups strawberry yogurt |
1 cup fresh strawberries sliced |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375. 2. Combine flour, butter and powdered sugar with fork until crumbly. 3. Sprinkle in water 1 teaspoon at a time stirring to make dough. 4. Press 3 tablespoons dough in bottom and up side of 4 custard cups to within 1/2 of top. 5. Bake 10 minutes or until golden brown then cool 10 minutes. 6. Carefully remove shells from custard cups with small metal spatula to wire rack. 7. Cool completely then spoon equal portions of yogurt into each cup and top with fruit. |
