I just reviewed a nice little lunch only restaurant, and this was the dressing they used... Of course they didn’t give me the recipe, but I can usually figure most of it out. I think this is even better. Only thing I would recommend after making it is to let it chill for 30 minutes or so. Ingredients:
• 3/4 cup brown sugar |
• 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar |
• 1 teaspoon onion powder |
• 1/2 cup vegetable oil |
• 2 tablespoons strawberry jam |
• 2 teaspoons poppy seeds |
Directions:
1. Blend in mixer or shake in shaker by hand until blended. Instead of the strawberry jam, I want to try the chopped frozen strawberries that mom used. Need to find out what that was, but maybe ya'll will have an idea. |
