Make a celebration great with this beautiful and delicious cake. It is scrumptious, delightful, and very impressive. Ingredients:
1 strawberry cake mix |
1 package instant vanilla pudding |
4 eggs |
1/2 cup crisco oil |
3/4 cup water |
1 small can coconut |
1 cup chopped pecans |
1 cup sliced strawberries, can use frozen, but best with fresh |
strawberry supreme cake frosting |
1 large package cream cheese, softened |
1 stick unsalted butter, softened |
1 box powdered sugar (can add a little more) |
1 cup crushed strawberries |
Directions:
1. STRAWBERRY SUPREME CAKE 2. In large mixer bowl, with an electric mixer, place cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, oil, and water 3. Beat on medium for 30 seconds 4. Add strawberries, coconut, beat for 2 minutes 5. Add pecans last, mixing only until blended 6. Pour into 3 greased and floured 9-inch cake pans 7. Bake at 350 degrees until done (test with toothpick, or until the cakes shrink from the sides 8. Remove from oven, cool for about 10 minutes in pan, turn out and cool on a wire rack 9. STRAWBERRY SUPREME CAKE FROSTING 10. In large mixer bowl, with an electric mixer, cream the cheese, and butter until smooth 11. Add berries and sugar, beating until smooth 12. On cake plate or stand, assemble the cooled cake layers, spreading frosting between layers, and covering sides and top of cake 13. Garnish with whole fresh strawberries 14. May refrigerate |
