                    A favorite in our house. This is a unique salad that incorporates strawberry jam into the mix. Never any leftovers. Didn't find any other recipes for this with jam in them - really makes a difference. Ingredients: 
                    
                        
                                                1/4 cup almonds, slightly chopped  |  
                                                3 tablespoons sugar  |  
                                                16 ounces fresh spinach  |  
                                                8 slices bacon, cooked, drained, crumbled  |  
                                                1/2 red onion, minced  |  
                                                1 pint strawberry, cleaned, halved  |  
                                                1/4-1/2 cup dried cranberries  |  
                                                1/2 cup mayonnaise  |  
                                                1/8 cup milk  |  
                                                3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar  |  
                                                3 tablespoons sugar  |  
                                                3 tablespoons strawberry jam  |  
                                                
                     
                    Directions: 
                    
                        
                            
                                1. Melt 3 T sugar over medium heat and stir in the almond pieces. Remove and cool on a cookie sheet. 2. In a large salad bowl, mix together the spinach, bacon, red onion, strawberries, cranberries and almonds. 3. In a blender, combine the mayonnaise, milk, vinegar, sugar and jam. 4. Serve the dressing tossed with the salad or on the side.                              |
