Strawberry Sour Cream Ice Cream |

1 lb fresh strawberries, cleaned, hulled and sliced |
3/4 cup sugar |
1 tablespoon vodka |
1 cup sour cream |
1 cup heavy cream |
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice |
Directions:
1. In a bowl place the sliced strawberries, sugar and vodka; and let them macerate for an hour stirring every once in a while. 2. In the bowl of a food processor pulse together the strawberries and their liquid with the sour cream, heavy cream and lemon juice and process until it has a few chunks but is mainly smooth. 3. Freeze in your ice cream maker according to the manufacturer's directions. |
