A recipe for the iron skillets. Recipe doesn't give servings. Cook time 35 to 40 minutes or until golden-brown and cake begins to pull away from sides of skillet. Ingredients:

1 cup sour cream |
1/2 cup milk |
2 tbsp.sugar |
2 pkgs. (7 oz. each) martha white strawberry muffin mix |
topping |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/3 cup martha white all-purpose flour |
1/4 cup cold butter, cut into pieces |
strawberry glaze |
smucker's strawberry preserves |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. 2. Grease 10-inch cast iron skillet. 3. In large bowl, combine sour cream, milk and sugar; mix well. 4. Add muffin mix; stir to blend. 5. Spread batter in greased skillet. 6. In small bowl, stir toghether flour and sugar. 7. With pastry blender of fork, cut in butter until crumbly. 8. Sprinkle over batter. 9. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until golden-brown and cake begins to pull away from sides of skillet. 10. Let cool 15 minutes. 11. Cut into wedges, place on serving plate and top with Smucker's Strawberry Preserves (optional). |
