Delicious over ice cream or a plain cake with whipped cream. Ingredients:
2 lbs ripe strawberries, hulled |
1/2 cup granulated sugar (depending on sweetness of berries) |
2 teaspoons cornstarch |
1/2 lemon, juice of |
1 pinch salt |
Directions:
1. Combine ingredients in medium saucepan over medium-low heat; stir gently until sugar dissolves and berries are soft, about 10 minutes. 2. Remove from heat and cool. |
