Ingredients:
6 (10-ounce) packages frozen strawberries, thawed and undrained |
1 cup light rum |
1 quart vanilla ice cream, slightly softened |
1 cup whipping cream, whipped |
Directions:
1. Soak strawberries in rum overnight. 2. Spoon about 1/3 cup ice cream into 8 chilled parfait glasses; freeze for 30 minutes. Spoon about 3 tablespoons strawberry mixture over ice cream. Repeat layers. Top with a dollop of whipped cream. Serve immediately. |
