Strawberry Prosecco Float (Anne Burrell)

Ingredients:
1 pint strawberries, tops removed and quartered
1 tablespoons sugar
1 pint high quality vanilla ice cream
1 bottle prosecco
Directions:
1. Toss the strawberries with the sugar and let sit for 30 minutes.
2. Place 1 scoop vanilla ice cream each of 4 large wine glasses. Divide the strawberries between the 4 glasses. Fill each glass with prosecco. Serve with a spoon and a straw.
