Such a delightful Crisp - very, very tasty!! Ingredients:
1/2 cup flour, divided |
2 (14 ounce) cans peach slices, drained |
2 cups strawberries, halved |
3/4 cup plus 2 tbsp. light brown sugar, firmly packed |
1/4 cup cold butter |
3 cups post honey bunches of oats cereal almonds, lightly crushed |
1/2 cup cool whip topping, thawed |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F Remove 2 tablespoons of the flour; set aside. Toss peach slices with strawberries, 3/4 cup sugar and remaining flour in large bowl. Place in ungreased 8-inch square baking dish. 2. Mix reserved 2 tablespoons flour and the 2 tablespoons flour in separate bowl. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add cereal; stir until well blended. Sprinkle over fruit mixture. 3. Bake 25 minutes or until topping is lightly browned. Serve topped with whipped topping. 4. VARIATION: STRAWBERRY-RHUBARB CRISP - Substitute 2 cups sliced fresh rhubarb (about 1/2-inch thick) for the peach slices. |
