I found this recipe in a recipe box from a estate sale. When I made this lemonade I cut the recipe in half except I made the whole amount of the sugar syrup and used all but about a 1/2 cup. When I made the sugar syrup I used Splenda in place of the sugar. Ingredients:
2 pints strawberries |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
3 cups water |
1 1/2 cups lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Puree strawberries. 2. Combine sugar and water. 3. Heat until sugar dissolves. 4. Mix with puree and lemon juice. 5. Serve chilled. |
