Unusal strawberry dessert, elegant and flavors blend very well for a refreshing fruit dessert. Ingredients:
4 sticks of fresh rosemary |
6 strawberries per person |
8 tbs water |
1 cup plus 2 tbs sugar |
9 oz marscapone cheese |
2 shots of limomcello liquer chilled |
1 lemon, zested |
Directions:
1. Remove nearly all leaves from rosemary sticks but leave a few on the end. 2. Reserve the leaves. 3. Cut off top of strawberries and thread 6 onto each rosemary stick. 4. Place sticks on a wire rack over a tray. 5. Place the water and 1 cup of sugar in sauce pan. 6. bring to a boil and let.When the mixture is caramel color, pour over the strawberries. 7. Whisk the cheese with a little ( about 2 tbs ) till sweetened to taste 8. Divide the cheese on center of 4 plates, drizzle on the linoncello, and sprinkle with reserved rosemary leaves 9. Llay strawberry kabobs over the cheese. 10. Garnish with lemon zest |
