My grandmother's recipe that doesn't seem to last long and freezes well. Ingredients:
6 cups frozen strawberries, crushed |
6 cups sugar |
2 tablespoons vinegar |
Directions:
1. Pour strawberries and sugar into a large pot. 2. Stir and let sit for 12 to 15 minutes. 3. Bring to a boil for 3 minutes. 4. Add vinegar and cook for 6 more minutes. 5. Skim off foam. 6. Let sit for up to 48 hours before putting into jars, stirring occasionally. |
