Delicious,low fat creamy Strawberry tarts. Easy to do! The recipe is courtesy of Rocco DiSpirito Ingredients:
1/2 vanilla bean,split,seeds scraped and reserved |
2 oz. low-fat cream cheese |
3 tbs granulated splenda or 9 pkts (31.5g) truvia |
1-3/4 c non-fat greek yogurt |
2 tbs pmegranite juice |
4 mini graham cracker tart shells |
8 lg. fresh strawberries,sliced thin |
Directions:
1. In bowl of mixer with paddle attachment,combine vanilla bean seeds,cream cheese and splenda. Beat till mixture is slightly fluffy,about 1 min 2. Scrape down the sides of the bowl. Add the yogurt and pomegranite juice. Beat till yogurt is fully incorporated,about 1 min. Scrape down sides of the bowl and beat 1 min more. 3. Fill each tart shell with cream cheese mixture. Arrange strawberry slices on top. Serve immediately or refrigerate till serving time. |
