Tasty summertime treat to be enjoyed anytime of the year! Ingredients:
1 cup flour |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup chopped nuts |
1/2 cup melted butter |
3 egg whites |
12 ounces frozen strawberries, partially thawed |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
2/3 cup granulated sugar |
8 (10 ounce) containers cool whip |
Directions:
1. Crust:. 2. Spread in 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes. 3. Stir occasionally. Remove pan from oven and cool. 4. Remove 1/3 cup of mix from pan for garnish. 5. Filling:. 6. Beat 10 minutes the egg whites, strawberries, lemon juice and sugar. 7. Fold in the Cool Whip. 8. Spread mix into pan over crumbs. Garnish top with reserved crumbs. 9. Freeze several hours before serving. |
