A Yummy, easy, and moist Strawbery Cake than can me made year round with frozen strawberries! Ingredients:
1 (18 ounce) box white cake mix |
1 (6 ounce) package strawberry gelatin |
2 tablespoons flour |
1/2 cup water |
4 eggs |
1 (10 ounce) box frozen sliced strawberries in syrup, divided |
3/4 cup vegetable oil |
8 ounces cream cheese |
32 ounces powdered sugar |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. Combine cake mix, gelatin, flour, water, and eggs. Beat 2 minutes. 2. Add 1/2 of the strawberries with syrup to batter and beat 1 minute. 3. Add oil and beat 1 minute. 4. Pour batter into 2 greased 9 inch cake pans and bake at 350 for 25-35 minutes. 5. For frosting, beat cream cheese until smooth. 6. Add sugar alternating with the remaining strawberries and syrup until smooth. 7. Add vanilla. 8. When cakes are completely cool, frost with the strawberry frosting. |
