Ingredients:
500 g strawberries, hulled & cut in half |
2 teaspoons citric acid |
1 1/2 cups water |
2 cups white sugar |
Directions:
1. Place strawberries in a Large ceramic or glass bowl with citric acid & water. Cover and allow to stand for 24hours. 2. Pour liquid through a fine sieve lined with muslin into a medium sized saucepan and add sugar. 3. Stir over low heat just until sugar dissolves, do not allow it to boil. 4. Remove from heat & pour into sterilised bottles & refrigerate. |
