                    with strawberry season coming ... well for me it will be months!!!! but this sounds good.... the recipe is from Linda Larsen, Ingredients: 
                    
                        
                                                • 1 cup sifted all-purpose flour  |  
                                                • 1/2 cup sugar  |  
                                                • 2 teaspoons baking powder  |  
                                                • 1/2 teaspoon salt  |  
                                                • 1/2 cup milk  |  
                                                • 1 egg  |  
                                                • 2 tablespoons melted butter  |  
                                                • 1 1/2 cups strawberries, sliced  |  
                                                • crumb topping  |  
                                                • 1/2 cup flour  |  
                                                • 1/2 cup sugar  |  
                                                • 1/4 cup butter  |  
                                                
                     
                    Directions: 
                    
                        
                            
                                1. Sift together the 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add milk, egg, and melted butter; beat 2 minutes. Spoon batter into a greased and floured 8-inch square baking pan. Top with sliced strawberries. Combine 1/2 cup flour and 1/2 cup sugar; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add chopped pecans or walnuts. Sprinkle crumb topping over the strawberries. Bake at 375° for 30 to 35 minutes.
