Strawberry Cake With Frosting |

This cake is very popular with the younger crowd. My grandaughter especially likes this one. Ingredients:
1 white cake mix |
1 (3 ounce) package strawberry jell-o gelatin dessert |
4 eggs |
1 cup vegetable oil |
1/4 cup water |
1 (10 ounce) package frozen strawberries, thawed |
1 (1 lb) package powdered sugar |
1/3 cup butter, softened |
Directions:
1. Combine cake mix, jello, and eggs.
2. Mix well.
3. Add oil, water, and 1/2 the strawberries.
4. Beat on med for 2 minutes.
5. Pour into greased 12x9 pan.
6. Bake at 350* for 30 minutes.
7. Cool.
8. Frosting: Combine powdered sugar, butter and remaining strawberries.
9. Mix well.
10. Spread on cooled cake.
