I don't know when or where exactly my mother came up with this but is so simple, my granddaughter has been making it since she could help in the kitchen. Ingredients:
1 quart strawberry preserves |
3 quarts commercial buttermilk |
Directions:
1. Blend buttermilk and strawberry preserves in ice cream freezer container with large whisk. 2. Start ice cream freezer. 3. Ready to serve when freezer turns off. |
