So you're the type who needs a cup of coffee in the morning to get you going, right? Forget that! The unusual combo of strawberries, cayenne pepper & garlic will wake you right up. Ingredients:
2 pork chops |
1/4 cup strawberry preserves |
4 fresh strawberries, for garnish |
1 tbsp prepared horseradish |
1 tbsp soy sauce |
1 tbsp butter |
1 1/2 tbsp garlic, minced |
1 pinch of cayenne pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine the strawberry preserves, horseradish, soy sauce and garlic in a small sized saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring often until completely heated. 2. Melt butter in a medium sized skillet. Lightly sprinkle some cayenne pepper on both sides of each pork chop. Fry them until browned on both sides, then continue to cook over a medium heat until they are no longer pink, and the juices are clear. 3. Serve the chops with the strawberry sauce poured on top, then garnish with fresh strawberries. |
