Very moist bread, tasty. Recipe calls for 1 cup of pureed strawberries which is probably about 2 cups whole strawberries before being pureed. Makes 2 loaves. Recipe from Ingredients:
2 cups strawberries, pureed |
4 eggs |
1 cup canola oil |
3 cups flour |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
2 tsp. cinnamon |
1 tsp. baking soda |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, combine strawberry puree, eggs, and oil. 2. Blend in sugar, cinnamon and baking soda. 3. Add flour. 4. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9x5 loaf pans. 5. Bake ~45-50 minutes at 350F (longer in glass pans) 6. Cool completely before removing from pans. 7. Serve with cream cheese frosting if you'd like. |
