A delicious high-protein fruit smoothie, developed by a Teen Cook! Ingredients:
8 ounces silken tofu |
1 banana |
8 strawberries |
1/3 cup pineapple chunk (frozen fine) |
1/4 cup orange juice |
1 1/2 ice cubes |
Directions:
1. Add all ingredients to a blender, blending after each addition. 2. Pour and enjoy! 3. Hint: You might want to defrost any frozen ingredients prior to adding them to the blender. 4. Alternative to Silken Tofu: 1/2 cup regular tofu, with 1/2 cup liquid (water, milk, or soy milk) pre-processed in the blender works fine. |
