Strawberry-Banana Protein Smoothie |

I came up with this after getting hooked on the protein smoothies at our local Gold's Gym. I've always loved Muscle Punch's from Smoothie King and this (to us) comes fairly close! Feel free to substitute fruit or add your own! We've tried Peach-Banana and Strawberry-Mango-Banana. This recipe also doubles easily. Ingredients:
1 cup ice |
5 frozen strawberries |
1/2 banana |
1 tablespoon honey |
1/2 cup water |
1 scoop vanilla-ice-cream flavored protein powder |
Directions:
1. Put all the ingredients into a blender (frozen ingredients first). 2. Blend until smooth. 3. Pour into a tall glass. |
