A nutrient dense breakfast option that is easily customizable to suit your tastes and needs. Powdered supplements are easily disguised in this smoothie [protein powder, benefiber, etc.] Ingredients:
1/2 cup oats |
1 cup nonfat plain yogurt |
8 oz orange no pulp juice |
2 1/2 cups frozen strawberries |
1 cup banana, sliced |
Directions:
1. Ground the oats in the blender before adding other ingredients. 2. Add remaining ingredients. It's best to add them slowly in this order: yogurt, orange juice, banana, then strawberries. |
