This is a really good, light dessert that is perfect for the summer months. Ingredients:
2 pkg. strawberry jello |
2t. sugar |
1 pt. whipping cream |
2-1/2c. boiling water |
2 pkg. frozen strawberries |
1 prepared angel food cake |
Directions:
1. Dissolve sugar & jello in water. 2. Add frozen strawberries and stir until dissolved. 3. Chill until partially set. Whip the cream & fold in. 4. Break half of cake into bite-sized pieces & put into bottom of 9x13 pan. 5. Cover with half of the jello mixture. 6. Repeat layers. 7. Chill overnight. |
