This cake is one of the best cakes I have ever eaten. Its very easy to make and It goes very fast. Everybody absolutely loves it ! Ingredients:
1 package white cake mix |
1 package strawberry flavored unsweetened soft drink mix |
3/4 cup water |
3 eggs (including yolks) |
1 package (10 ounces) frozen sliced strawberries, thawed and undrained |
whipped cream cheese frosting |
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened |
1 tablespoon milk |
2 cups heavy whipping cream |
2/3 cup powdered sugar |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350.F grease bottom only of 13x9x2 inch pan with shortening; lightly flour. 2. Beat cake mix, drink mix (dry), water, eggs and strawberries in a large bowl with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes.pour into pan. 3. Bake 30 to35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Run knife around side of pan to loosen cake, leave cake in pan. Cool completely, about 1 hour. Frost with Whipped Cream Cheese Frosting. Store covered in refrigerator. 4. Whipped Cream Cheese Frosting 5. Beat cream cheese and tablespoon of milk in chilled large bowl on low speed until smooth. Beat in whipping cream and powdered sugar on high speed, scraping bowl occasionally, until soft peaks form. |
