Strawberries and Cream Bread |

Easy to make and delicious. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, softened |
3/4 cup sugar |
3 eggs |
1/2 cup sour cream |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 cups flour |
1/2 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 1/2 cups chopped fresh strawberries |
1/2 cup chopped walnuts, toasted |
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. 2. Add vanilla. 3. Combine dry ingredients. Add the flour mixture (in 3 additions) and the sour cream in (2 additions) alternately starting and ending with flour. Mix only until combined. 4. Fold in strawberries and nuts. 5. Pour into a greased and floured 9 X 5 inch loaf pan. 6. Bake at 350 degrees for 60-65 minutes. 7. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan to a wire rack to cool completely. |
