This recipe comes from the John F. Kennedy High School cookbook and is a favorite of mine. Ingredients:
5 lbs potatoes |
1/2 cup butter |
1 pint half-and-half cream |
1/2 pint heavy whipping cream |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Peel and boil potatoes whole. Shred cooked potatoes inot a 9x13 inch baking dish. Mix the rest of the ingredients with the potatoes. Bake at 350* for 30-40 minutes. 2. Preparation time includes boiling the potatoes. |
