This is always a favorite for holidays, family, special ocassions. I like to serve it with a variety of sweet and regular breads. There is no wrong way to make this. After the eggs and milk, the rest you create. Read more Have fun and enjoy! Ingredients:
12 eggs |
4 c milk |
garlic salt |
8 oz monterey jack (shredded) |
pepper |
bread |
1# bacon (cooked) |
1/2# sausage (cooked) |
fresh mushrooms (sliced) |
Directions:
1. Butter bread on both sides and line bottom of 9x13 pan or 2 9x9x8 2. beat eggs and milk 3. add pepper and garlic 4. pour over bread (the bread may float to the top, that's ok) 5. add mushrooms 6. add cheese 7. add cooked sausage 8. add cooked bacon 9. cover and place in fridge overnight 10. bake at 350 uncovered for 1 hour 11. let set for about 10 minutes before serving 12. Enjoy, and remember, this is your own creation so don't be afraid to experiement on this one, you can't go wrong. |
