Turkey sausage lasagna made in 30 minutes. Ingredients:
1 1/4 lbs jennie-o italian turkey sausage |
1 lb ricotta cheese |
1 lb rotini pasta |
1 (8 -10 ounce) can italian-style diced tomatoes |
1/2 cup parmesan cheese |
1 -2 tablespoon italian seasoning |
1 tablespoon minced garlic |
1 teaspoon onion powder |
crushed red pepper flakes (to taste) |
2 tablespoons butter |
Directions:
1. 1. Put water on to boil for pasta. 2. 2. Cook turkey sausage 14-16 minutes covered in skillet. 3. 3. Slice turkey sausage into round pieces. 4. 4. While pasta cooks, mix ricotta, parmesan, italian seasoning, minced garlic, onion powder, and crushed red pepper. 5. 5. When pasta is finished, drain and return to pan. 6. 6. Add parmesan mixture, sausage and diced tomatoes along with 2 T butter to pan. Mix and cook about 5 more minutes to melt ricotta. |
