Yummy chili for hot dogs, not your ordinary tex-mex red... Ingredients:
32 ounces beef broth |
2 lbs ground chuck |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 teaspoon ground cumin |
1 yellow onion, chopped |
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
2 teaspoons salt |
2 tablespoons chili powder |
1 teaspoon black pepper |
1/2 teaspoon cayenne |
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice |
6 ounces tomato paste |
12 ounces stout beer, such as guinness |
Directions:
1. In a heavy bottom pot, like a dutch oven, heat pan on medium high. 2. Brown beef. 3. Halfway through browning, add chopped onion and minced garlic. 4. Drain fat. 5. Add all remaining ingredients and simmer for at least 20 minutes, covered. |
