1/2 cup cornstarch |
3 tablespoons brown sugar |
1 tablespoon minced ginger |
4 garlic cloves, minced |
1/2 cup soy sauce |
1/2 cup dry sherry |
2 1/2 cups beef or chicken broth |
1 teaspoons hot sauce (or use ' 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper) |
4 tablespoons red wine vinegar |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients and stir until sugar is dissolved 2. Pour over stir fry just a few minutes to thicken after meat & veggies are done 3. Refrigerate and use within 2 weeks or freeze any extra. Makes about 4 cups |
