I found this recipe on the back of a bag of fresh stir fry vegetables and just loved it, so I thought I'd share. The ingredients are staples in my pantry, so this is a great recipe when I need a quick fix to add some flavor to veggies. Ingredients:
1/2 cup chicken broth |
4 tablespoons soy sauce (or teriyaki) |
2 teaspoons sugar |
1 tablespoon cornstarch |
Directions:
1. Whisk chicken broth, soy sauce, sugar, and cornstarch in small bowl until cornstarch dissolves. 2. Add to tender-crisp vegetables and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. 3. Cook until sauce thickens, about 1 minute. |
