Stir-Fried Scallops With Fresh Basil |

Quick and easy meal. Serve with two cups of steamed chopped cabbage. Ingredients:
8 ounces fresh scallops |
2 tablespoons oil |
3 garlic cloves, peeled and chopped |
3 fresh lime leaves, cut into thin strips |
1/2 cup dried chinese mushrooms |
1/4 cup bamboo shoot, shredded |
3 tablespoons oyster sauce |
15 sweet basil (thai) |
Directions:
1. Rise scallops and score diagonally. 2. In a wok, heat oil, garlic and lime leaves on high heat until oil bubbles. 3. Add scallops, mushrooms, bamboo shoots and oyster sauce. Stir-fry for 3-5 minutes or until scallops are cooked. 4. Mix in basil and serve on a bed of steamed cabbage. |
