This dish goes well with fried rice and hot buttered crusty bread. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 (16 ounce) package california blend frozen vegetables |
1 1/2 cups water |
1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts |
2 tablespoons soy sauce |
1 (3 ounce) package beef-flavor ramen noodles |
Directions:
1. Brown meat over medium high heat,in a large skillet; drain. 2. Add vegetables, water, soy sauce and the flavoring packet from the ramen noodles. 3. Mix well and bring to a boil. 4. Break noodles in half crosswise and add to vegetables. 5. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 8 minutes or till vegetables and noodles are tender. 6. Stirring occasionally to separate noodles. |
