Stir-Fried Pork in Hoisin Sauce |

This simple and tasty stir-fry is from the Wild Ginger Restaurant in Seattle. We like to serve this over cooked soba noodles with some stir-fried vegetables on the side. Ingredients:
3 tablespoons hoisin sauce |
2 tablespoons rice wine |
2 tablespoons soy sauce |
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar |
1/4 teaspoon sesame oil |
3/4 lb pork tenderloin, sliced into 1 1/2 x 4-inch strips |
3 tablespoons soy sauce |
2 tablespoons rice wine |
2 tablespoons garlic, minced |
4 teaspoons cornstarch |
1 teaspoon sugar |
1/4 teaspoon sesame oil |
1 1/2 tablespoons peanut oil |
2 tablespoons water |
6 green onions, julienned |
Directions:
1. For Sauce:. 2. Stir all ingredients in a medium bowl until well blended. 3. For Pork:. 4. Stir pork and next 6 ingredients in small bowl until blended. 5. Heat 1 1/2 tablespoons peanut oil in heavy large skillet. 6. Add sauce; bring to simmer. 7. Add pork; stir-fry 3 minutes. 8. Add 2 tablespoons water and onions. 9. Stir-fry until pork is cooked through, adding more water by tablespoonfuls to thin sauce if desired, about 1 minute. |
