This recipe goes with Jamaican Ribs with Sticky Rum BBQ Sauce Ingredients:
1 cup firmly packed dark or light brown sugar |
1/2 cup ketchup |
1/2 cup dark rum |
1 tablespoon jerk seasoning blend |
1 teaspoon lime zest |
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice |
2 tablespoons soy sauce |
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke |
Directions:
1. Combine ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat. Simmer 5 to 7 minutes or until slightly thickened. Remove from heat, and let cool; refrigerate, covered, up to 2 weeks. |
