OH YEAH .....nothing like a hot sticky bun in the morning......;-) Ingredients:
1 loaf frozen bread dough |
1/4 cup chopped nuts |
2 tablespoons raisins |
1/2 package butterscotch pudding mix (not instant) |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 cup sugar |
3/4 stick butter |
1 tablespoon brown sugar |
Directions:
1. Unthaw bread dough and slice in half lengthwise, then cut each half into 6 pieces. 2. Grease the bottom of a tube pan thoroughly. 3. Place nuts and raisins in bottom of pan. Place bread pieces in pan. 4. Blend together butterscotch pudding mix and cinnamon and sprinkle over bread pieces. 5. In a saucepan, bring sugar, butter, and brown sugar to a boil. 6. Remove from heat and pour over bread pieces. 7. Cover with cloth and let rise overnight. 8. In the morning, bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. 9. Remove from oven and let stand 2 to 3 minutes. 10. Turn upside-down onto plate and serve. |
