My husband made up this recipe and to my surprise it was very delicious. We have this side dish about once a week. Give it a try I am a very picky eater, compared to most. We tried it with an orange pepper once as we didn't have a green pepper and it just wasn't the same, so I would recommend using the green pepper. Enjoy!!! Ingredients:
1 teaspoon olive oil |
1/2 small onion, sliced |
1 garlic clove, sliced |
1/2 green pepper, sliced |
15 ounces green beans |
15 ounces stewed tomatoes |
salt & pepper (to taste) |
Directions:
1. Sautee olive oil, onion, & garlic. 2. Add green pepper and stewed tomatoes. 3. Lastly add the green beans, salt & pepper. |
