1 lb boneless skinless chicken, cubed |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can crushed tomatoes |
1/2 cup chicken broth |
1 1/2 cups chopped onions |
1 cup medium mushroom, quartered |
1/2 cup finely chopped celery |
1/2 cup finely chopped carrot |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
1 teaspoon dried italian seasoning |
1 cup chopped zucchini |
salt and pepper |
8 ounces ziti pasta, cooked and kept warm |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except zucchini, salt, pepper and ziti, in slow cooker. 2. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, adding zucchini during last 20 minutes. 3. Season to taste with salt and pepper and serve over ziti. |
