Yummy stewed cabbage-it's good over brown rice Ingredients:
1/4 cup fat free chicken broth |
2 onions, chopped |
1 celery, chopped |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can stewed tomatoes |
1 head cabbage |
salt |
pepper |
Directions:
1. Add chicken broth to sauce pan, simmer onions, and celery until transparent, about 3 to 5 minutes. Then add the cabbage, and simmer for and additional 15 minutes. 2. Add tomatoes and continue to simmer over medium high heat far another 30 to 40 minutes. 3. Salt and pepper to taste. |
