These are just simple biscuits that my family loves.
Ingredients:
2 c self-rising flour
4 tbsp all vegetable shortening
1 pinch salt
3/4 c milk
1 tbsp butter(melted)
Directions:
1. Combine flour, shortening, and salt into large mixing bowl
2. Mix using hands, adding milk in small amounts
3. Continue mixing until all flour is mixed into dough ball
4. On floured surface knead dough 3-4 times
5. Pinch off small dough balls so that you have 9 equal size balls
6. Roll small balls in hand to form spheres
7. Place spheres spaced evenly apart on lightly greased pan
8. Brush melted butter on each
9. Bake at 425 F for 15-18 mins (bake time may vary)
