Stephanie's Stuffed Mushrooms |

These are always gone in no time. They are a perfect addition to any Italian meal. Ingredients:
18 large fresh mushrooms (about 1 lb) |
3 tablespoons butter (steph uses more) |
1/2 cup pesto sauce |
Directions:
1. Clean mushrooms with a damp paper towel. Remove stems. 2. Place butter in shallow baking dish. Roll mushroom caps in butter, and arrange in dish (cap side down). 3. Spoon pesto evenly into caps. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. 4. Note: Stephanie says they sometimes take a little longer in the oven. Basically, the mushrooms should have shrunk in size and the pesto should take on a darker green appearance. |
