Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups sugar |
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour |
1 tablespoon baking powder |
2 eggs, beaten |
1 cup milk |
1/4 cup shortening, melted |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
sifted powdered sugar |
Directions:
1. Combine sugar, flour, and baking powder. Add eggs, milk, and melted shortening to dry ingredients; stir just until moistened . Stir in vanilla. Fill greased and floured muffin pans half full. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes. Remove cakes from pan, and sprinkle with powdered sugar. |
