Coffee combines with hot chocolate for a bracing drink to be enjoyed on the coldest of mornings. Ingredients:
2 cups sugar |
1 1/2 cups unsweetened cocoa |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
7 cups milk |
7 cups strong brewed coffee |
1 tablespoon vanilla extract |
marshmallow crème (optional) |
Directions:
1. Combine first 3 ingredients in a Dutch oven. Whisk in milk and coffee until smooth. Cook mixture over medium heat, stirring often, 20 minutes or just until bubbles appear (do not boil); remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Top each serving with marshmallow crème, if desired. |
