Steam only the ones you will eat that day, and refrigerate or freeze the remaining. :) Ingredients:
1 lb ground turkey |
1/2 cup chopped water chestnut |
1/4 cup chopped green onion |
1/2 cup chopped bamboo shoot |
1 tablespoon cornstarch |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 teaspoon sugar |
1 tablespoon soy sauce |
wonton wrapper |
lettuce leaf |
1/2 cup soy sauce |
2 tablespoons sesame oil |
1/2 teaspoon tabasco sauce |
Directions:
1. Combine turkey and vegetables in bowl; mix well. 2. Add cornstarch, seasonings and 1 Tbsp soy sauce; mix well. 3. Spoon a small amount onto each wonton wrapper; moisten edges with water. 4. Pleat or crimp with pot sticker maker to seal. 5. Place in single layer in lettuce-lined steamer. 6. Steam over boiling water for 6 minutes or until cooked through. 7. Repeat with remaining dumplings. 8. Serve with mixture of remaining 1/2 cup soy sauce, vinegar, oil and Tabasco sauce for dipping. |
