Steamed Clams with Bacon and Beer |

Ingredients:
4 slices bacon, cut into pieces |
1 small onion, chopped |
3 lbs steamer clams |
1 bottle beer |
Directions:
1. Fry bacon over medium heat, in a medium sized pot about 4 minutes. 2. Add in onion, and continue until bacon is brown, and onion is tender, about another 4 minutes. 3. Add in clams, and beer. 4. Cover and steam clams until they pop open, about 7 minutes. 5. Throw away any clams that do not open. 6. Stir together and serve. |
