This is a healthy snack that is tasty too. Very South Indian in taste and technique of preparation. Ingredients:
1/4 kg red pumpkins or 1/4 kg cucumber |
1/4 kg fine burghul |
1/4 kg jaggery, to taste (i like it less sweet) |
1/4 teaspoon anise seed |
1/2-1 coconut, grated |
Directions:
1. Grind the pumpkin and mix all the ingredients into it. 2. Keep aside for 1/2 an hour to an hour. 3. Steam in a pressure cooker for 20 minutes. 4. Done. |
