My favorite way to enjoy asparagus! Extremely simple to prepare, and of course, healthful. Ingredients:
1 lb asparagus, rinsed and trimmed |
1/2 lemon |
Directions:
1. Steam asparagus gently until tender, certainly not mushy. 2. Put asparagus in bowl, and squeeze lemon half over the asparagus until fairly well-covered. 3. Salt, pepper, and/or butter are optional, but I like the dish as is. |
